USA

I absolutely LOVE the Olympics.  I don't care where they are or if it's summer or winter.  I don't want to watch anything else during those 2 weeks, and it's doesn't matter what event they are covering.

I'm passing this love down to Aiden for sure.  Two years ago we bought a huge world map with the flags on it because he was so interested in the countries at the Olympics.  Most nights you find me sitting on the floor showing him the flags and where the country is on the map.  It was great!

This year he is loving the snowboarding.  He just talking me in to letting him stay up to finish watching the women's free slope (I think that's the name).  I'm glad he did because we saw American Jamie Anderson lay it down and win gold.  🇺🇸

Rylee has enjoyed the figure skating.  She has even been practicing her spins.  They are morse like turns right now, but she looks adorable!

I don't just love the events though.  I really enjoy learning more about the athletes, including non-Americans, and about the host country.  I will probably never travel to Russia even though it seems interesting, so I'm glad NBC is telling me all about it.  ;)

Hopefully, I can get a couple of things done and watch the last if the prime time coverage before I head to bed.
