What a day

We woke up this morning to a dusting of snow already on the deck.  I decided to go to work to put some signed invoices in for shipping since it wasn't looking good for me going to work on Monday.

My wonderful husband offered to drive me and entertain Rylee while I did my thing.  About 20 minutes in the snow was coming down hard and fast.  It was up to about an inch by the time we left.

It was a crazy ride south with stupid drivers and slick roads.

We went to my mom's to pick up Aiden and put out her trash.  By the time we made it home, we had over 2 inches.

I saw some neighbors shoveling and thought it was a good idea to get ahead. I dug out the snow clothes.

It was pretty easy shoveling with the light powder, so there was time to play.

With red cheeks, we came back in the house and started a fire.  It wasn't long before I received a call from Rogers schools saying they were closed tomorrow.

Joseph and I worked on our Super Bowl
spread, and the kids played.  The snow stopped and we took a final reading before dark.

Unfortunately, the big game did not go our way, but the food was good.

The company was even better, and we really enjoyed the halftime show.

Now that day care has also closed, I need to send an email to work.  Then I can sleep in on a Monday morning.  Wahoo!!!
