It's beginning to look like Christmas

Finally!! We have our tree up and decorated.

There are tinsel ropes over most of the doors.  I don't know that I have ever put a tree up this late.  But, hey, that's what happens when you vacation right after thanksgiving. ;)

Tomorrow we will probably get the mantel set with the nativity, decorate the hearth, and put the village on the tv table.  We may even get some candy made tomorrow night or presents wrapped.

We will definitely get some candy done Sunday.  Hopefully we'll be able to get a few decorations outside too, if the weather warms up some.

I love this time of year!!  There are so many memories on our tree alone with the ornaments from years past.  The best part is watching the kids' reactions.  Or maybe it's the togetherness of being in the kitchen whipping up good stuff for the people we love.  Or maybe it's finding the just right gift for the people on your list.  Or remembering the ultimate gift from God given on that holy night - Our Savior.

It all just makes me happy!!!  It's good to be happy!
