Celebrating Independence

We had a pretty low key and traditional 4th of July evening.  

Mom and Dad came over for burgers and hot dogs that Joseph grilled.  

Aiden worked on his firework fears, and Rylee wanted to be hands on with everything.

My parents didn't stay for the fireworks because their dog would be scared.  I forgot to take any pictures, but we really enjoyed them.  I'm still hearing booms, pops, and crackles.  

Rylee has crashed, and Aiden is curled up with a blanket.  I'm getting pretty droopy myself.

I do want to take this opportunity to thank all those who've served or are serving in the military for preserving the ideals set forth by our founding fathers 238 years ago.
