Winter is packing a wallop this year

It's been a long time since we've had a winter like this one.  It all started in December with a huge event that we missed half of because we were enjoying the only warm place in the conte install US at the time - Florida.  The. We had another small round right after the first of the year.  Now we seem to be stuck in a cycle of snow and cold.  The 7 day forecast is calling for snow almost everyday, and the warmest high is 35.

I know so many people are very much over it and ready for spring and warmer weather.  It actually doesn't bother me that much.  This is one area that I roll with the punches pretty well.  It may be because I've always been fascinated by weather and try to enjoy every aspect of it.  If my first name was different I might be meteorologist.  Lol!

I'm very luck to have a day care that tries very hard to be open during inclement weather even if it's shorter hours.  This makes it a lot easier to just do our thing and be fairly normal.  Having Mom and Dad living here now makes it even easier because Aiden doesn't have to go to work with us.

Many kids are headed back to school tomorrow, including mine.  Buses are limited because back roads are still slick, but they've missed so much school they need to get back to it.  We are living day to day at this point with a lot of snow still in the forecast.

Here is a pic of our road this morning.
It's a lot better now.

Well, I better head to bed, so I can get up at "normal" time in the morning.
